4 RIMS Mounted on B.F. Goodrich Winter Slalom KSI Tires - IMPORTANT NOTE NOTE: I very recently purchased a used vehicle (2011 Ford Escape Limited 4WD) that included these 4 winter tires. When I went to see about having these tires mounted, I was told that the date of manufacture is 3010 (the 30th week of 2010), and that they are not permitted to mount tires of that age. Materials that tires are made of degrade over time, though this is not often visible, they explained. Therefore, these tires should not be driven on, on roads, simply because of the age. The shop told me that it was very unfortunate because they said the tires are in excellent condition--they said excellent tread (8/32" out of 11/32"), no cracks, clearly rarely used, and stored properly and inside. The original owner of the car (one owner before me) purchased these tires. Perhaps you would be interested in the rims, perhaps these tires could be mounted on a vehicle just to keep the vehicle body off the ground or off jacks, on private property only, or something, but again, I was told that they should not be driven on public roads because of date of manufacture. The asking price of $200.00 is based on $50.00 per rim. The tires are included. Specifications: B. F.
