The kayak has definitely been out and about (mostly fresh water) as you can see from the cosmetic damage. However, one of the benefits of carbon fiber is that it is practically indestructible and you get scratches instead of holes :) The hatches are extra large, so it's much easier than most kayaks to get your gear into the boat. There's also a ton of storage capacity. Kayak feels very stable, even in high winds. I love this kayak and truly hate to let it go. But I can't haul it on my motorcycle and it's too wonderful to leave in a garage out of selfishness. So I hope it goes to a good home!
