The Ovation Celebrity MCS148 Mandolin has the classic rounded back that Ovation guitars have become famous for, along with a spruce top, walnut bridge, and rosewood fretboard. To get your sound off the stage and out to the crowd, the MCS148 Mandolin uses a thin line pickup and the versatile and warm sounding Ovation OP24+ preamp. The OP24+ preamp features three EQ bands with the ability to shift the mid band to either a 400Hz or 1KHz center frequency. It also features a Pre-Shape circuit that lifts the base and treble and reduces the "rumble" frequencies below 40Hz.
