Canadian made 14" bandsaw with new 3/8" x 6 TPI blade. The motor is a beefy 3/4 HP Preston Leland, also made in Canada. The saw was built at the Callander Foundry, established in 1916 in Sardinia Ontario. The frame is cast iron and the wheel covers, wheels and blade adjustment cover is cast aluminum. Sadly this foundry was purchased by Rockwell in 1953 and eventually closed. These saws were built to last as evidenced by this one. Mounted on a wooded stand with mobile casters. Nice piece of Canadiana.
