Up for sale is this vintage Collins Machinery metal cutting cold saw, with a freshly sharpened 10" blade. Despite it's age and appearance, this tool can accurately and consistent cut even 1/16" slices of virtually any metal profile you might want to cut, stainless steel square tube, large rounds etc. Purchased this unit 20 years ago for asking price and it received all of one hour's use; it's sat in storage ever since. A coolant tray was installed - a pump and reservoir will also be supplied with the saw to keep things lubricated, cool and sharp. I had two brand new brass gears custom machined (one installed, one spare, at a cost of $450 20 years ago). An arm and spring were installed at one time to assist in the hand lever operation of the saw -not sure what happened to the spring, but these are a dime a dozen at Princess Auto. These machines are an asset to any serious metalworking shop or home hobbyist; with a little TLC, she can regain her former glory. Traditionally quite expensive to purchase -here's your chance to purchase an older unit for a fraction of the cost of something new. Thanks for looking!
