This, not only beautiful but useful antique (70yrs old) has been restored to perfect working order. It comes on a nicely crafted welded steel stand on heavy duty 5" castors. The stand is as old as the lathe and the castors are relatively new - they make the heavy beast very easy to move around. I can't display enough photos here to do justice to the enormity of the unit and the accessories that go with it, but I'll try to list them. Another separate piece of equipment that comes with it is an old drill sharpener (BK-65) made by the makers of the new Drill Doctor that allows one to sharpen drills up to 2" or more. The unit comes with the industrial Timken Bearings as opposed to the lighter duty Babbitt (sleeve bearings). It also comes with a very good, bound, copy of the original manual. From the front edge of the headstock spindle to the end of the bed measures exactly 45 inches. Between centres is approx 32 plus inches.
