1969 t-bird, two door landau. All original except for the new wheels and tires. Bucket seats. No air or factory stero. Only came with an am radio. This car has a 429 thunderjet engine that has been completely rebuilt. Factory spec sheets say this car had 360 hp but dyno testing put it at 425 off the lot. Manufacturer did this to avoid the added insurance costs to buyers of the higher horsepower at the time. After rebuild and larger exhuast pipes it puts out a bit more now. I am the second owner and the odemeter read 99,000 miles when I bought it in the early 2000's and after the rebuild it now is at 19,555 miles. Transmission and rear end have been checked out and serviced and are in excellent condition. Everything in the engine compartment is also new and original parts and the front end steering components have all been replaced. Front seats had a little wear so they have been recovered. Car was painted black when I bought it but the original colour was t-bird rose with a black landau roof. Before I bought it the car was stored for 13 years under cover and until now it has been also under cover. Still has the original Poulan motors sticker on the back. All original glass. Everything works except the passenger window is fussy to open and close. I rebuilt the gear box on the electric motor on the drivers side window and it works well and the samr needs to be done to the passenger side. I have been driving this car occasonally every summer since I bought it so it has never sat unused for long. When tuned right It will leave rubber on the highway at 100 km/hr.
