We are the third owners of this epic cruiser and can provide a great history on this sailboat. SV KnotSure was built by my grandfather, a commodore of the RVYC in 1976 in Victoria. (We have a photo album of the boat being built and will include a digital copy for her new owners.) Family commitments will prevent us from sailing her and we don’t want to see her depreciate on a dock as she has been so well cared for over the years. Knotsure was repowered with a Sole diesel 1600hrs ago and rigorously maintained since that time. Full survey was completed last year (June 2022) and a copy can be provided to serious buyers. All deficiencies that were identified in the survey were remedied during her haul-out in fall 2022. She is equipped to be sailed solo from the cockpit with Dutch flaking system installed on the main. Given her heavy displacement, she handles the water like a dream and sails amazing. Similar Pacific 30’s have sailed to Hawaii and back without issue.
