She has a solid fiberglass hull (built in the era when they still made boats with thick glass), a deck cored with marine ply, integral lead ballast (no keel bolts), and a skeg hung rudder (to protect the rudder from rogue driftwood). Rigged as a masthead sloop with a deck stepped mast, lots of sail trim gear, tiller steering, and the traveler at the back of the cockpit so its out of the way. She has a well maintained and reliable Universal M3-20 diesel engine with a new transmission, shaft, and shaft seal. Lots of sails: a fully-battened cruising main, a deep footed powerful racing main, a heavy weather Jib, a working Jib, a Dacron 120 Genoa, a Mylar 130 Genoa, and a cruising spinnaker.
