Gas powered lower and vacuum. I have used it for nine years but still in good operating order. You will still get many years of use. Stihl makes good durable stuff. I used it primarily as a vacuum to pick up garden waste as my yard and front is primarily gravel and the blower didn't work as well as on a smooth surface.
