Then, this ActionTec WCB3000N WiFi Network Extender will communicate directly with your Telus Actiontec router over your home's existing coaxial-cable network. The extender takes the credentials from your existing Wi-Fi network and creates a second network with the same name. This means that your devices go from one network to the other, seamlessly. You connect your existing Telus router to a coaxial-cable outlet in the room where it is. You connect this extender to a coaxial-cable outlet in a room where the Telus WiFi signal is weak or not available. The coaxial-cables inside the walls of your home provide a high-speed, interference-free connection between your Telus router and this extender. This extender also has 2 Ethernet ports, for connecting 2 desktop/notebook computers to this extender. Contact-less pickup is preferred.
