I've been teaching violin, piano, and music theory for eighteen years, catering to students of all levels and ages, from beginners to Grade 10 RCM. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Orchestral Performance from the University of Victoria, I am certified in both the Suzuki Method and Royal Conservatory of Music teaching. My teaching approach encompasses the Suzuki Method, Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum (Preliminary to Grade 10), as well as Jazz and Fiddle styles. I find immense joy in teaching and witnessing the happiness and growth it brings to my students, which is why I pursued teaching in the first place. Regarding my background, I am deeply committed to music as an expressive art form. I have performed extensively with orchestras and quartets throughout North America, including notable performances at local cathedrals, churches, and auditoriums in Victoria, BC.
