Free bantam Quail Belgian d'Anvers Cockerel. 12.5 weeks old (hatched Jan 25-26). Very friendly and would make a great pet, or could be raised for the soup pot, not that there would be much meat on him. I am not keeping him for my breeding program, as his comb as a slight flaw from the standard, but has no other issues. Belgian d'Anvers are a smaller breed of bantams, but what they lack in size they make up for in personality. If they are handled, they end up super chill. I have a rooster who will follow me around the yard. They also do well with standard hens, as their small size means they can't hurt the hens from trying to breed with them, but will still protect them. Located in Central Saanich.
