A delightful clay yixing tea set, lovely for all manner of Chinese tea and tea ceremonies. Tea is brewed in the gaiwan, the lidded bowl with saucer, then poured into the pot for distributing to the tea drinkers. The porcelain in the gaiwan is intended to develop hairline crackling which eventually takes on the colour of the tea served. I used it for 10-year aged Pu'er tea for years so the colour is faint. Note that the lid of this gaiwan has a small chip as shown in the photo. This set came from The Chinese Tea Shop in Chinatown, Vancouver about 15 years ago. The price then was around $200. Take a look at the link below to see what similar designs are going for. Note: if you're not familiar with yixing tea sets, the size is small. This is not like an English tea pot that makes mugs of tea. It's for making small, potent tea to sip. I'll take the ad down when it sells so you don't have to ask.
