Renovation and Maintenance Worker

As a Renovation and Maintenance Worker you will bring those qualities to the job site each day, and we will make use of your skills and teach you even more! What you will do: • Execute minor repair work including heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contract tradespersons for major repairs •Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting, drywall, minor plumbing, and minor electrical needs •Provide general assistance to skilled tradespersons such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters, plumbers and others • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed • Facilitate floor installations and cabinet installs Any other additional minor repairs as needed • Perform inspection of building systems as needed • Maintain a safe and clean working environment Other duties as required Your Experience and Education • Previous experience in maintenance or renovations considered an asset Mobility in tight spaces • • Red Seal certification or Building Operator certification considered an asses • High school diploma required What you bring Excellent communication skills; understanding both oral and written instruction in English •Ability to work a flexible schedule including occasional weekends and holidays Provide proof of double COVID vaccination .A great, positive energy, integrity The ability to work independently and to organize and prioritize your work. Strong attention to detail . An inquisitive and growth mindset • Willing to undergo a criminal record check • Ability to frequently lift up to 40lbs unassisted and occasionally lift over 40lbs, assisted • Willingness to stand, sit, walk, bend, and kneel for sustained periods Nice to have .
