$350 · Linn integrated amplifier

I bought this amplifier originally from Sound Hounds, but I haven't used it for several years so it's time for it to move on. It's extremely well-built by the famous Scottish manufacturer of audiophile equipment and features a toroidal power transformer and Zetec transistors. The amplifier has the usual RCA inputs, but also has two inputs for turntables and a decent built-in phono amplifier. It also has tape inputs for those who may be interested in the resurgence of tape recorders. An unusual feature is that it has not only "pre-outs" so that it can be used as a pre-amplifier to supply external power amps, but can also be used as stereo power amps supplied by external pre-amp sources. The amplifier is in excellent condition and has had a new volume control fitted. Other than that, it's in 100% original condition. It is rated at 50W per channel with 8 ohm speakers. If you're looking for a classic integrated amplifier with excellent sound quality and clean aesthetics, this Linn would be a good choice (and excellent value at the price).
