Easily start your continuous supply of kefir. Way cheaper than buying ready-made kefir. I usually have plenty to spare so please send me an email or text to arrange self-serve pick-up of a baggy of kefir starter outside my front door. Easy to culture at room temp. Strain and replace the milk once every day or two. Culture feeds on lactose in milk (any %, cow, goat, etc.). Amount of milk takes experimentation and depends on time, temperature, and the amount of grains. I provide about 1 tablespoon of grains, which will multiply quickly if you maintain them daily. Start with 1-2 cups of milk per day, then experiment with amounts for your needs. Don't use metal utensils. You'll have kefir ready to drink 24 hours from when you replace the milk.
