$550 · (REDUCED) SONY TA-1120 (NOT TA-1120a) stereo hifi amplifier

Up for sale is this nearly perfect cosmetic condition ultra rare 1960s TA-1120 amp. This was the very first Sony ES (Elevated Standard) product introduced in 1965. It IS NOT the much more common (and still very good) TA-1120A. You can see that from the lack of (utterly useless in the case of the 1120a) headphones output. The original 1120 is also known to sound significantly better. There is barely a mark on it (besides the usual phone number scratched into the side). This would truly be the crown jewel in your vintage Sony collection. It has been in storage for MANY years, so undoubtedly needs a re-cap job. I will not be powering it up lest it go up in flames. This is obviously worth restoring. Even has the original preamp / power amp jumpers and phono short plugs. You won't find another one any time soon. I may just end up putting it back in the closet for another couple of decades. Not interested in shipping. May entertain trades for vintage guitar / amp gear.
