Behavior Interventionist/Respite Worker in home The qualified candidate will have a degree or be working through a degree in psychology or another related field. They will have experience working with teens with special needs. They must be comfortable with giving medications, dealing with some self-injurious behaviors (following the behavior plan) and toileting a female client. Most shifts would be 2 hours, during the weekday, meeting her bus at her home at 245 and staying with her until 445 (1-2 days per week). Some weekend shifts may be required at times. The shift will consist of teaching life and leisure skills in home and out in the community. There is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on the team to train the qualified candidate and oversee the programming. The qualified candidate will be paid between $20-$24/hr depending on experience and ability. Must have a current criminal record check with vulnerable population.
