However we can cut the boards to shorter links if needed. INFO ON TRANSPORTING: I did a little research and came up with the following for 'Fitting 16' baseboard in vehicle'. BEST IDEA: Put a blanket on the roof of your truck. Strap on a 12' -14' aluminum ladder. Place the 16 foot baseboards on top and strap all to the truck with a cinch. OTHER IDEAS: Cut the baseboards to a size that is easier to transport. (we can cut for you). If you have a good saw, next time you need to join pieces miter them and super glue them. Fill with spackle and sand. You can make contiguous pieces that look seamless that way. Then install the entire piece as one, rather than trying to join pieces on the wall. ********** Use 2x4s to make a 12' long support and tie down in the back of a pickup truck with an 8' bed. Tie trim to the truck bed and to the support. The 2x4 frames will support the ends of the trim that hang out the back so it won't bounce too much. ********** Make a truck bed frame with two 3' lengths of 2x4 and two 12' 2x4s, screwed together. *********** If you don't have to drive far or transport more than a few boards, run it through the back window of a truck and rest the fronts on the top of the dash. ********* Find something else that is a comparable length and stiffer (i.e. plywood sheet). Strap that to the bed of your truck or roof of your car/suv. Strap the boards to the stiffer item. ******** I've used an aluminum extension ladder (some are lighter than wood) for this strategy and found it quite effective. I've also used a 16 ft 2x6, which I found less effective, but still ultimately worked. ********** Do you have a truck? If so, a bed extender from harbor freight or amazon will get it done. ********* If that's not an option for you, tape or wrap the pieces tightly together and strap them down in a vertical position so they look like lllll in the back of the truck. They won't bend as much that way, but you'll have to be really diligent about strapping them in to keep them in place. ******** Or, maybe the best solution is to simply rent a truck.
