Nice, made in Canada bench top drill press. This machine is solid and has been well maintained. It has been upgraded with well matched permanent magnet motor, variable speed control, forward/reverse switch and digital tachometer. Drill speeds of between a crawl to 2300 rpm are possible with the turn of a dial. No belt or pulley changes required. Much faster spindle speeds are possible if that is what you want. At low speeds you can cut 1/2" holes in metal or you can put a sanding drum on, turn the speed up and sand, all without having to adjust the belt. Reverse is particularly handy for sanding or grinding or using a wire wheel to clean something. This is a very handy drill and motor combination. Call, text or email if interested.
