For someone to start a new journey with, is offered an offshore rigged Victoria built (Phil Brooks yard) Mark 2 Haida 26-sloop. Solid fiberglass construction. She was drawn to break the Swiftshure-race class rules, so for her size she is very fast and easily handles rough weather and very light weather. Handles weather well and she also takes off in slightest puff of wind. Oversized stainless rigging and second forestay with a stormjib for better pointing in heavy weather. Also: A well running Honda 5-horse 4 stroke outboard (2012). Propane two burner stove, built into a galley( fully set for cruising cooking),a sink with a hand pump from a 50 liter water tank situated in the bow for right weight distribution. The galley is very well laid out facing the aft right below the companionway. A dreamy layout of the interior also includes two berths, a fully functioning marine toilet (a head) with a mandatory holding tank, would you cruise to the states or other countries. (this will soon be a must in Canadian waters as well, justifiably so). A fully working and upgraded electronics with a full set of running lights (a masthead, aft, fog) and interior lighting. Stereo system with usb connections and cockpit speakers, all replaced leds and two fairly new deep cycle 6 volt batteries in series for 12-volt system. Woodstove that is small and one of the most effective ones I have ever seen. Fully closed cell foam insulated interior that I completed last year. No more condensation inside due to effective vapor barrier and you only need a tiny piece of wood to heat the entire boat nicely and lastingly. Two set of sails; two mains and two large 130% Genoas (one rolling, one on hanks, your preference) currently rolling furling installed. A spinnaker and a storm-jib. Two anchors, over sized 30lbs Bruce and a same size cqr with over 800 feet of rode and 150 feet of chain. -Olli
