A 1999 Honda Odyssey. 260km and going, this Odyssey has been a good family car and also a work car for carpentry. The back bench folds away, and when the captain's chairs (2nd row) are removed it is quite a large space for tools, furniture, moving, camping, etc. Pros: new alternator, tires in very good shape, pretty new battery, captains chairs (2nd row seats) upgraded to leather seats (we needed the LATCH system for our car seat which the original chairs did not have). Cons: cosmetic damage to the bumper, wear+tear, stains in the carpet/floor (family car! spilled drinks etc as much as we tried to keep it clean). Sometimes the check engine light comes on: it's the catalytic converter. Sometimes the dash shows doors as not shut when they are. Basically, a few funky sensors that light up now and then but overall have gone away and/or not proven to be a problem. Car is not currently insured. It can be viewed in the driveway and turned on, etc, but if you want to test drive it we will have to grab one-day insurance. Can be factored into the price if you decide to purchase. Asking 950$. It was a safe, basic, spacious car for our growing family and our small business. For this price it's clearly not the car of the year - it has age, wear+tear, and high(ish) kms.
