Don't believe what you hear! Most Japanese guitars from the 60s are surprisingly high quality (this fact and their lower price point is what prompted the cease and desist order from US manufacturers, known colloquially as a "lawsuit") this is a full hollowbody (most "hollowbody" guitars in the midrange market are semi-hollow"guitar making it actually lovely to play unplugged. Action is great, the pickups are terrific. It sounds awesome and is an excellent guitar. Certainly five times better than any guitar you'll get for the same price from long and Macquade. Real rosewood fingerboard! Tuners works "backwards" and trem bar is missing. But: If you play it, you will want it! No case
