Pair of Necky "Gannet" kayaks, one yellow & one grey. Built in Canada, and originally purchased new at Ocean River Sports in Victoria, these boats are 11' long and 25" in the beam, making them exceptionally stable, as well as easy to get in and out of. The hulls are made of the same material as self-healing cutting boards and are virtually indestructible, so they're safe for dragging over west coast rocky beaches without damage. Boats feature adjustable foot rests, seats, and cockpit-operable aluminum drop keels for stability & easy paddling. They have a raised, flared prow for deflecting waves, and are extremely seaworthy. Their length makes them easy to transport on even a small compact car rack, and at only 40 lbs. each, they are easy to carry. They also have lifting toggle handles fore and aft for easy carrying. Cargo bungees are fitted for & aft on the decks for extra carrying capacity, in addition to room behind the seats for smaller items. Included are 2 watertight skirts (one nylon, one neoprene), 2 paddles (one fiberglass & carbon fiber, one nylon & aluminum, ("Current Designs" and "Carlisle" brands). Both paddles have rubber drip rings to prevent water streaming down the shafts. Also included are 2 pairs of neoprene "beach boots" (one pair ladies' size 8) and one men's (size 12+) for getting on & off the beach and into & out of the boats.
