First, a disclaimer. If you remove the base of the table, then the rubber damping layer, you come on the aluminum frame. On this frame, the back corner was broken. I have repaired it with metal epoxy, it is solid with no issues. I would never have even known about this but I opened it up to upgrade the wiring and found it then. I have no idea how it happened as there is no visible damage to the outside. With that issue noted, this table is in amazing condition, both the table and the dustcover. The tonearm, where it is red, has shrink tubing installed to reduce vibration. It's removable if you want. The turntable mat has also been replaced with a red silicone that just looks cool. The feet have had the thin rubber lower pads removed and replaced with Sorbothane hemispheres. It comes with a basic Akai cartridge on a Ebony wood headshell and sounds good. Hooked up for a listen.
