This is a cast silver metal alloy Sukhothai Buddha head. It is a quintessential symbol of Thai art, spirituality, and cultural heritage. Sukhothai, meaning "the dawn of happiness" refers to a kingdom formed in the upper central region of Thailand in the 13th century.
