This antique picnic basket is old and primitive, yet in good condition. I think it dates from the forties, but maybe older. This beautiful, rustic basket has double, bent wooden handles with a wooden , side hinge attached to the lid. Remarkably, all of the wooden slots are in good condition except for a couple. The wooden lid has wear around the edge and some discoloration spots. Authentic, farmhouse picnic basket.
