This is an orange #31 Cousances enameled cast iron pot that has been in my family since it was first bought. While it shows some signs of use, the cooking enamel is completely intact. There is a very small ding on the lid that is included with the pictures. It has tons of use left in it or can be used as a collector's item and displayed. La Creuset bought Cousances in the late 1950's and began stamping La Creuset onto their bakeware after the acquisition. This pot lacks the La Creuset logo and only bears the markings of "Cousances", "31", and "Made in France". It's quite difficult to find a Cousances pot this old at this size for sale. The #31 has a pot size of 5" height and about 14" width. I'm selling this heirloom due to financial strain. I've done enough research to try to price this according to condition and rarity. Perfect for the antique cookery coineseur in your life. 380.00 firm please. Pickup near Uptown.
