$1 · 1 Bedroom Basement Suite for Childcare

Hello, We are a family of 4, children are both girls 4yrs and 20 Months. We are looking for child care in exchange for free rent and utilities. We are looking for 5 days a week. Currently the 4 year old goes to pre-school from 830am-5:00pm. We do drop off, but require pick up when my wife or myself are unable to make it. Additionally coverage when 4 year old is sick or there is a stat holiday when there is no school. Then both children would require to be cared for. Mostly it is care for the younger child through the day. Naps (1) time between 1hr-3hrs daily. The 20 month year old will attend the same school by September of 2025. The Suite: Roughly 850 sqft, not including mud room (100 sqft), which is where separate entrance and separate laundry are located. Has own personal deck and comes with 1 parking spot. Deck has natural gas BBQ hook up. In quiet cal de saq. Suite was built in 2018, two different Nanny's have lived in there since it was built. Preferred candidate would have either pension, disability or some other sort of passive income unless they want to work on weekends or after 6pm. Typical time we require would be from 8am - 6pm, 5 days a week. I work in Finance, standard M-F leave at 8:30am, back at 5:30pm. Wife is a Nurse so schedule is not set in stone and fluctuates. We are looking for someone with childcare experience that is will to take girls on outings. Which will be paid for by us. Walks, trips to museums, gardens, ocean, swimming what ever you like as well. We do have a large play area downstairs for gloomy, rainy days as well. Care will be done in our living area and your area remains separate. Own car would be nice but one previous nanny used bus and kids are more than comfortable taking the bus. You can text me with further questions as well.
