I just bought this motorcycle and unfortunately I and think I’m looking for something a bit more road biased. I have only put on a couple hundred kms since buying it. Here is the description and pictures from the person I bought it from. “If you want a quality 2nd Gen KLR this is the one! Past year the following work was performed and video documented. -Rebuilt Brake Calipers Front & Back, New Seals & Pads. -Rebuilt Front Forks, Bushings, Seals, Progressive 11-1506 Springs Plush Yet Firm -Rebuilt Clutch New Friction Discs & Replaced Cable -Rebuilt Water Pump (Should Be Done with Clutch) all New Seals -Valve Shim Adjustment -Upgraded Balance Chain Tensioner to Heavy Duty Version with Torsion Spring (aka Doohickey) -Chain & Sprockets (Bike Comes with Stock 15 & Installed 14 Tooth Front Sprocket) -New Spark Plug -Engine Ice Coolant (the Expensive Stuff) -All bearings & pivot points serviced and greased, swingarm, rear suspension & steering stem bearings. Other Items of Note, bike has Progressive 465 Series Rear Shock ($1000 Shock), heated grips, electric ambient temperature & voltmeter display on custom accessory dash panel with USB outlet as well as 12V DIN outlet for charging/maintaining battery or heated gear. Zero Gravity Windscreen, Bark Buster Hand Guards, Sargent Touring Seat, BIG Skid-Plate, Engine Guards and Pannier Racks that can double as rear crash guards. Numerous personal accessories including a height adjustable side stand, brake caliper guards, headlight guard and more. It would cost you close to $20K to buy a new bike and kit up comparably. With all the work done to this bike, at least mechanically, it is as close to new as you get.”
