$90 · House Plant - Very Large Schefflera (Umbrella Plant)

I have a very large, bushy Schefflera (Umbrella plant) that has outgrown our stairs landing and needs to go to a new home. I have grown the plant since it was small so it is sorta hard to part with. I could prune it smaller but since it is very healthy and vibrant I would prefer to leave as is. If it is in a different location it can be staked to be much taller but because it was on our landing I did not want it to be too tall. This plant prefers being placed in bright, indirect sunlight in an East, West or diffused South window which would be ideal to keep your Schefflera happy and actively growing. I water my Schefflera thoroughly once the soil has dried out but make sure the soil is well-drained and the plant never sits in standing water. You can utilize a moisture meter to help you properly gauage soil moisture and avoid overwatering. Scheffleras are a tropical plant, which means they can tolerate normal room humidity between 20-30%. As mentioned already Scheffleras also prefer well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. The outer pot is not included, nor the birds or flamingo - just the plant which is in an inner pot. Can be repotted into a larger pot.
