$750 · Yuba boda boda w/Bionx electric-assist

Red Yuba boda boda old school steel frame cargo bicycle with after market rear-wheel Bionx rear wheel electric assist installed. Double kickstand for loading, front basket for light cargo. (Can throw in the large red waterproof ortlieb panniers I have been using for groceries.) Bike is heavy and stable. It needs paint touch up, see photo of worn paint from brake cable (some chips fixed over the years with the blue paint I had, but needs red, everyone loves the red!) Has been well used for kid in seats, and later handlebars on the rack, until they were big enough to ride their own bikes. Also strong enough for hauling cargo trailers - has been a complete replacement for a car. Russ Hays and a steel fabricator in Sidney installed a custom frame to house the Bionx battery for me - while Bionx North America has gone out of business so the battery can't receive updates or be fixed by a technician, it still works with about 30 to 50 km range, charges with regular wall plug; perfect for errands and commuting still. The original wheel can be put back on, or a new assist, if desired.
