Work done in the last year: New timing belt, water pump, tensioner pulley etc New heater core All new engine heater hose New thermostat Changed all fluids (diff, transmission, etc) New Nokian WR C3 All Weather Tires (https://www.kaltire.com/en/tires/?prefmin2=100&prefmin1=7&prefn1=SPEEDRATE_RANKING&prefn2=load_index&prefv3=ALL-WEATHER&prefv4=70&prefv5=15&prefv6=225&prefn3=tire_categories&prefn4=tire_profile&prefn5=tire_rim_diameter&prefn6=tire_width) New fuel filter New fuel pump Built out a platform in the back to haul material/toss a mattress in and sleep on Oil changed every 5000km 298XXX km JVC KD-X240BT deck in it 4x4 works unreal (differential lock works) cruised through that big snowfall last year in remote areas of the island without any issue. Body in pretty good shape for its age. Got a Haynes manual and all receipts. Still runs and holds temp no problem but the last road trip I had some overheating issues at the top of the Malahat. No loss of power, no milky white oil, no oil in the coolant, no temperature code trips, clear of all codes, no engine lights on but I have been told by a mechanic that they performed a dye test and that I have a small leak in the head gasket right after I swapped all the heater hoses. Another one has told me that it could be the intake manifold gasket. Blows white smoke on start up then goes away once the engine comes up to temp (but has been doing this since I got it 2 years ago). I’m just not interested in sinking more money into this rig. Probably best as a parts vehicle or as a fixer upper. Is currently plated so you can take it for a drive. Price is firm, I’d rather give it to charity for a tax write off than give it away for less. The tires alone are worth more than I’m asking. Roof rack not included.
