$850 · 1953 National Archtop Acoustic electric guitar hollowbody

Very nice player's grade National archtop with Dearmond "Golden tone" gold foil pickup. the action is perfect, the neck is straight. The pickup and electronics work wonderfully and sound terrific. This well built National guitar is structurally perfect and well setup. Acoustically it's mellow and sweet but with some definite punch. Plugged in it completely shines. The pickup gives one of the nicest, fullest and most natural sounding acoustic sounds I’ve heard. The Dearmond pickup, though not original to this guitar, is one of the most desirable vintage pickups out there among players and collectors. It would appear that the guitar and neck have been refinished many moons ago.
