1996 Toyota Celica GT -This is a US model GT that was imported to Canada early in its life. It is equivalent to the Canadian GT-S model. - 2.2L - 5 speed - 174,xxx MILES (280,xxx KM) - Power locks, sunroof - A/C: blows cold - Cloth interior - Engine idles and runs great -Aftermarket wheels, exhaust (not too loud) - The BAD: Has transmission issues. It slips out of third occasionally. It is still drive-able, all the others gears work fine but it's a little stubborn getting into gear at times. Paint is pretty bad, the roof has been plasti-dipped once (because the clear coat on the roof was peeling) but that is peeling now as is the clear coat on the hood. Engine leaks oil from the valve cover, I always keep it topped up. It has been sitting a bit because of the tranny and that caused a rear brake caliper to seize, it has been driven a bit with but not ideal. Rats have also torn out the hood lining... wiring is fine though. Typical tear in the drivers seat bolster. A few dings on the body, the worst being a crack on the passenger side rear fender. NO RUST. Passenger side hi-beam housing leaks. Passenger door latch dosen't work from the outside. Exhaust leak somewhere. She's seen better days, I just hope someone can use the parts.
