Just completed total restoration dec 27. The boat was stripped back to nothing more than a rub rail and windshield. Every component is new with the exception of a few factory Bertram hardware items. Custom made Alaskan bulkhead, custom helm, custom cabinets and seating arrangement. All new Awlgrip paint in Aristo blue and stark white. Window frames were resprayed in jet black with flattening agents. Bilge areas were repainted with interlux bilgekote. Bottom paint is interlux micron CSC. Brand new 240 gallon aluminum fuel tank. Group 31 Triple batteries, all activated by Blue Sea automatic magnetic night switches at helm. Automatic charging relays manage charging loads. Xantrex sinewave charger/inverter handles shorepower duties and becomes an inverter at sea. Remote display in dash. Dual Garmin plotter displays, dual Garmin vhfs, networked via nmea and Ethernet connections. Airmar b60 in hull transducer mounted exactly at midships. This makes the entire boat extremely solid. The rub rail was sanded and machine polished for days to a bright shine. All lights are high quality led marine lighting (no junk), all led navigation lighting. Side windows and rear windows are new tempered glass. Front windows open and adjust with ease. Seats are made by Taco and are of the highest quality. Shockwave suspension seat for impact mitigation. Brand new v-berth cushions, flybridge upholstery, seat cover and upper helm cover. Twin Pod (bracket) with kicker mount is full displacement and proven in design and performance for this boat. Transom supports were fiberglassed into the hull to reinforce the transom.
