$800 · 1981 Yamaha Exciter 250T - Running project

250cc Yamaha Exciter 250T (Model SR250 in other places) Perfect commuter bike with the sizable locking trunk. Currently runs but has   been sitting for a few years as an "I'll get to it later" project because of an oil leak due to aging gaskets. I've realized that "later" isn't happening so now I'm selling it as-is. Its also since developed a fuel leak and has a little trouble starting but I'm confident a carb cleaning would sort that out since it wasn't doing that before it sat and it's only pushing too much fuel through with the excess coming out a drain. It just needs some gaskets replaced, a carburetor cleaning, new front brake pads, and maybe some minor tuning up but other than those problems it's in pretty good shape. Has been stored indoors while I had it, battery still holds a charge, electrical is all good, tires still hold air and have tread. It's set up for one person but could take 2 if you changed out the seat, it's already got passenger pegs. Comes with a spare but cracked trunk and a motorcycle cover.
