Wage: $80K – $100K DOE Benefits: Extended health plan includes vision Health spending account RRSP match Tuition reimbursement Experience & Qualifications: Previous Plumbing commercial and light industrial estimating experience working with a general or mechanical contractor Fluent in reading mechanical, electrical, process and control drawings, & civil drawings Proven ability to close complex tenders, bids and proposals Computer proficiency including experience with MS Office and estimating software packages Solid team player with a positive attitude Attention to detail and strong time management skills Thrives on managing multiple priorities and project deadlines Proficient with developing resource loaded project schedules Excellent written and verbal communication skills Duties and Responsibilities Include: Manage all aspects of the Plumbing bidding phase during tendering Finalize and compile tender documents for review and submission Interpret documentation, specifications, and drawings Prepare quantity take-offs for labour and material costing Prepare BOMs to support procurement requirements Prepare submission schedules and manpower loading profile, review and evaluate vendor and sub-contractor quotes Establish and maintain vendor and subcontractor relationships Edmonton is the capital city of Alberta and has a population of 899,447 people.
