Meet up mornings near Fort and Cook. Firm price. Beautiful vintage teapot! Excellent condition no cracks chips or crazing. It holds 4 cups (1 litre). Nice thick cozy, clean no stains. Lovely marbled pattern. I think it’s from the 1930’s. These kind of patterns were called spongeware, as they were hand dabbed paint for the pattern. Comes with a very clean, no stains, stainless steel infuser. Because of the teapot opening shape the lid doesn’t fit on the infuser (these teapots were made before the new kind of infusers were) so included is a coated coaster to cover the infuser while in use then use the lid when it’s removed from steeping. Made in England teapots don’t drip and lay flat upside down for draining! Comes with the padded tea cosy as shown, slightly different pattern on each side. Embossed “Made in England”. I looked up other ones that seem the same and they are from the 1930’s. I have another British vintage one listed and a teapot set made in Germany!
