Two identical vintage all-wool blankets made in England by Witney. Twin sized, 66" x 84" Yellow/gold in colour One is in very good condition. The other is mostly in good condition, though has a few tears in one corner. With sympathetic mending, it would still be serviceable, attractive and largely unnoticeable in use. As with all wool items, these need special care to maintain their condition and utility. Store with mothballs or other moth repelling items when not in use. Wash in cold water and air dry. Any water or drying heat will shrink the wool and diminish its thermal properties. These have kept one generation of kids warm at night. They can easily do the same for another generation.
