$500 · Vintage 1928 Victor Victrola Model VV 4-70 Orthophonic Phonograph (Working)

Very cool/retro hand wound 1928 Victrola 78 speed phonograph in excellent condition. I just had the tonearm rebuilt and properly lubricated with a new brass base for a cost of $220 US by a very well known restorer in South Carolina named Brett Hurt aka the "Dyslexic Genius" shown in this video here working on the same type of arm: https://youtu.be/EHFWcm0YBYM Here is a video showing it in action before I did the restoration of the cabinet and arm: https://youtu.be/tcKbxnNOsJY will post an update on request or come listen for yourself. Reproducer works very well but is not an original Orthophonic which are hard to find in good repair since the pot metal usually fails by now. Rebuilt ones can be found. Sounds great as-is neverthless. Comes with a good stack of 78records. Unit came from a family member who never used it which is why it is in such great shape.
