Like new only better cuz it's filled with hydraulic fluid, has the optional wood catcher and has a wheel on the hitch to make it easier for pushing around. I bought the splitter 2 years ago and it has sat in my garage for 22 months. I pushed it out of the garage every 3 months to start and run it. Started yesterday on the 2nd pull. It is a beast of a machine, just right for splitting huge rounds cuz it stands up, no lifting just push the rounds into position and then pick up the smaller pcs to push thru.
