Top Flite P-47 Thunderbolt (The 'Jug') with 20cc Zenoah Gas Engine Wingspan: 63 inches (5ft 3inches) Fuselage length: 56inches (4ft 8inches) Weight: 11lb This is a receiver-ready P-47. It has been flown previously, and everything else required for flight is installed, except the receiver. The cost to build was more than $1,500 Cdn. The Top Flite Thunderbolt stock landing gear was replaced with upgraded aftermarket Robart P-47 air retracts with sprung oleos, and Robart wheels. For power, it has a Zenoah 20cc gasoline (low-cost fuel) two-stroke engine (with a custom B.C.M. Pitts-style muffler) which turns a Falcon 16 x 8 prop. The spinner is a Tru-Turn custom. The servos are all high quality JR throughout with a JR DS 821 digital high torque servo on the elevator. The control surface hinges are also Robart true hinges. The whole plane was fibreglassed with a very light fibreglass cloth, primer, and then paint. The 'Jug' also has the full optional cockpit kit with full body pilot. The one-piece wing is removable with two nylon bolts. Two transport cradles are also included. I am asking $550 which is a steal for anyone looking for a P-47 Thunderbolt of this quality and condition.
