Here for sale are an Original Series Infinity RS6 speakers. These are widely known as some of the best speakers Infinity designed and were created by the great Arnie Nudell. Build quality is excellent as is the condition of the speakers with the Oak cabinets being freshly refinished and in beautiful condition. The woofers have been just professionally refoamed. Cabinet face and rear have been repainted and the grills dyed black, with original badges . The RS6 is a true three-way design with the highly regarded and amazingly detailed emit Cobalt ribbon tweeter, accurate polydome midrange, and deep-accurate bass producing polycone woofer. These speakers today if new would be well over the $2000 range and their technology used is something not seen in many speakers under $2000, these were built in California. I have owned many different speakers over the years and these are truly special, comparing favorably and out performing many well known more expensive speakers. Their overall sound signature is very similar to the RS 2.5. With detailed treble, smooth midrange, and accurate bass that goes very deep. I highly recommend a quality vintage Marantz, Sansui, Pioneer or Kenwood receiver with some substantial watts for best performance, or a quality Pre/Amp combo to do these speakers justice. (note- one midrange replaced with matching driver but labeling is different, performance not effected).
