This is a 1980 van but the engine is still really strong. I believe we're the 3rd owners and it's been well maintained all along. 6.6L V8 (400 small block) runs great. Gas engine, RWD. Does not need any work that I can think of. High roof so anyone under about 6'3" can stand up inside comfortably and it has a unique layout that feels really spacious you can actually walk a little inside. We've made a bunch of upgrades to the electrical system and a few parts have been replaced the last couple years (largely just maintenance but I'll list everything below. - all 4 brakes replaced in Aug 2020 - about $1300 - M&S rated tires, 80% tread life - Lithium house battery - charges from alternator, installed solar panel, and converter - installed converter lets you hook up to shore power for endless power and recharging batteries - 4x household 110v outlets - electric fridge that runs on battery bank (12v) or shore power (110v) - Sink with single cold water tap - Propane furnace with thermometer works great for cold days - 3 burner propane stove - lots of cupboard space w/ mug hangers towel racks, etc. - captain seats have custom table for a 2-person dining setup - All electrical runs through a newly installed fuse panel - Room in the battery bay if you want to add more batteries for more off-grid time. - Upgraded stereo deck with new 6x9 speakers - couch in the picture folds down to a double bed with an EXTREMELY comfortable memory foam mattress - removable window coverings for all windows and windshield - for privacy + keeps it dark and cool in summer - storage area above the cabin that can be extended back to create a 2nd double bed (sleeps 4) - recent laminate flooring is very easy to clean - Detachable shower head with pump (recharges via USB) Installed a brand new carburetor last year and other maintenance kept up to date (fluid changes, spark plugs, air filter, etc).
