Fashioned after the Robben Ford Fender Esprit (which is now a $6,000. guitar), this made in Korea Squier 'Masterbuilt' Esprit guitar is an all mahogany chambered guitar with a carved top, elegant satin 'platinum' hardware, and binding on the body and neck. The heel-less (giving the appearance of a neck through and offering superior high fret access) set mahogany neck has a rosewood fingerboard with jumbo nickel silver frets and pearloid block fret markers with abalone inlays, and a 24 3/4" scale length. This guitar features two Seymour-Duncan designed humbucking pickups. It has a Duncan-Designed HB102 set that the Seymour Duncan website describes thusly "The HB-102 was modeled after Seymour's favorite humbucker combination, the USA-made SH-4 JB bridge and SH-2n Jazz Model neck set. Like the HB-101s, these pickups also use Alnico 5 magnets, but have a hotter winding spec, based on the world's most popular "hot-rodded" humbucker. The bridge pickup is Trembucker-spaced." These are great-sounding pickups that go from jazz and blues to rock and metal. The 24 3/4 inch scale allows you to more easily play some of the "stretchier" chords. It was made only in 2005, as I recall. It's in almost new condition, with one small mark on the top that can't be seen unless the guitar is held at a certain angle. Just had a full professional setup done, including fret levelling and dressing. Lovely guitar. Plays like butter and has a great variety of sounds. I just have several and this one doesn't get played as much as my 1962 Sheraton Reissue does. Gig bag included. Hard to find model. Last one sold on *bay went for $792.98. Was asking $525.00. Reduced to $475.00. Make me an offer I can't refuse, and please check out my other ads. PS - There appear to be some scratches in my pics. These are reflections, not scratches. https://reverb.com/ca/item/1481297-fender-master-series-squier-esprit-2005-antique-vintage-sunburst http://www.squierwiki.com/Master-Esprit https://www.musicradar.com/reviews/guitars/squier-master-series-esprit-24789
