$325 OBO For sale Chevy 1983 305 engine. This motor was going to be my winter project to replace the one in my 66 Chevy pickup that probably only needed valve stem seals. Engine has been completely dismantled in preparations for new bearings and rings. All measurements show that can be done with standard sizes for rings, rod and main bearings. Can be verified. It has been put back together for easy moving. I discovered that all small block chevy engines are not as interchangeable as I thought. I wanted to maintain the standard shifting in my truck but this motor doesn't have block mounting that would allow that. Discovered that moments before ordering parts. Engine has been maticulesly cleaned and sanded (valve covers, pan etc.) where nessasary and ready for paint. Comes with Rochester carb quadra jet Edelbrock manifold Esky cam Automatic transmission(recent service) Box of stuff??? Heads have had a valve grind and valves laped. Engine just needs bearings, rings and gasket set. Complete!
