We used it on our RV, but it works on any SUV, Pickup, or other vehicle. Everything works fine and it's ready to go. Mount it on your hitch, plug it in and you're all ready. It's not especially heavy when empty, so it's easy on and off. We were especially impressed with the included hitch tightener. Once tightened with a simple socket wrench, there's absolutely no "hitch bounce" or rattle. The box rides as if it's part of your vehicle. Swing away feature is held in place by two independent latches so no accidental deployments.
