Amazing setup you can throw on the roof of a vehicle and carry a lot of people into the wilderness. It's been a great tool for short paddles, day trips on lakes and the ocean, and multi-day excursions. In working order but could use some TLC in places. This Scanoe is a skiff-canoe. Flat bottom, square stern. 16'8" long, 3' 8". Has a foam-filled double hull, weighs about 100 pounds, very stable. It's a very cool boat they have a bit of a cult following. It's old boat so it's got alot of superficial scratches. It has a slow leak in the stern (see picture). Water stays under the double hull so on short paddles this won't get you or your stuff wet but it should be fixed. The advice I have gotten is that to properly fix it you need to plastic weld it. I've ordered a machine to do this (and I'm a journeyman welder) but the machine won't arrive until late August-early September. Once I fix it I will update this add, or if you buy the boat before the machine arrives I will fix the leak no charge. The plastic that mounts the rear seat is broken (see pic). The outboard is a Johnson Seahorse 5.5 horsepower. It's old but runs great, super reliable, still has great compression. It really makes the boat fly, planes easily unless you are really loaded down. Has some rusted out parts in the mounting bracket (see picture) that prevents the motor locking into the tilt position. Serviceable as is but could use repairing. Comes with a 25-liter fuel tank, fuel line, home made motor stand, and OG repair manual. The boat and motor are stable if you're lightly loaded or the water is calm, but loaded down or in rougher water I use the stabilizers (outriggers). They are amazing, makes the boat incredibly stable. They are also awesome with lots of people or kids, or if you want to stand up to fish, or dive off and climb back in. They telescope too two different widths and the height is fully adjustable. Come on and off easily with no tools, packs into a bag. Bought them at Sailboats To Go (https://www.sailboatstogo.com/content/Canoe_and_Kayak_Stabilizer#canoe) you can also buy a sail attachment which turns it into a sailboat. Comes with custom boat trolley (see picture) and one paddle. Not parting out, it's a package deal.
